My pierwsza brygada...

  1. Your blog is awesome :) hey, I have a kinda weird question.. is there any place in the internet (Facebook group or any other site really) where one can say thank you to people who came from Budapest to Krakow for 11.11? It was soo amazing! I met few hungarians in the evening today before they were coming back to Budapest and I was even more amazed with how wonderful people they are. I mean I always knew that Hungarians are great people, today I just confirmed my informations once again.

  2. Well, you already said thank you here, so I also thank You for that ;) There are many sites on fb dedicated to Polish-Hungarian friendship you can join any of them, however don't be surprised if you get negative feedback. As I see on Hungarian news our media also writes about the Marsz in a negative tone. What I saw there of course was different. I also took my tiny Hungarian flag and had short chats with Poles, one of them for example gave me a small badge with a white eagle when heard I'm Hungarian :) I was happy to take part on M.N. however I felt somehow it is different than in last year, it was somehow less cheerful (I missed to sing Mazurek, or My pierwsza brygada...etc) and I also saw the burning Russian consulate, but in general I didn't experience any negativity.

  3. Apart from what you can see in media, people here were really happy to see Hungarians, at least here in Krakow. We were in pub with friends in the evening and one guy from Hungary gave us a piece of paper and asked to write what Poles really thinks about Hungarians. Before us there were many people who wrote down few sentences and all of them were so kind and full of love:) We were sitting together (about 10 people from Krakow and 15 from Budapest) and we had the best time talking about our history and our countries in general. And when we left we still saw random people screaming "Węgry! Węgry! Dziękujemy" when they saw someone with Hungarian flag:) that was pretty amazing to me :) So one more time - thank you for being so awesome :D
